Tabriz, East Azarbaijan prov, May 17, IRNA � A group of tourists said Iran is a country with an exemplary culture and civilization.

They made the remarks while talking to the IRNA correspondent in the monumental train station in this northwestern city when their train tourists from Asia, Europe and South America arrived here on Sunday.

They said this characteristic made Iran a favorable destiny for tourists.

The passenger plane is carrying 45 tourists from Germany, Switzerland, Brazil, Russia and Indonesia.

It started the trip off from Istanbul.

They are to continue their journey to the cities of Tehran, Isfahan, Shiraz and Yazd.

The tourism train project was initiated by a Swiss company as a joint venture by Iranian and Turkish counterparts.

This is the second train of the kind to arrive in Tabriz this year (started March 21, 2015).
