VIENNA (Sputnik) � The proposition that the US Congress may review the final deal with Iran on its nuclear program could be used as political leverage during P5+1 talks, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov told Sputnik on Friday.

�This bill already influences the situation. It can be seen in the commentaries of the Iranian side and in those public signals that the American side has been sending recently,� Ryabkov said.

He added that the initiatives are contradictory and create �destructive political context.�

�Therefore, saying that this bill will become an inseperable obstacle for the final agreement is wrong. But it will definitely be used as a tool to influence the situation; therefore, we lament that it happened, but it cannot be changed, and we will have to deal with it,� Ryabkov added.
