Tehran, May 6, IRNA � Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zangeneh said Wednesday that Western sanctions imposed on Iran will be lifted through the government's prudence.

Zangeneh made the remarks while speaking during an opening ceremony of Iran Oil Show 2015.

Zangeneh noted that as five phases of South Pars gas field came on stream last year and around 125 million cubic meters (MCM) were added to Iran's gas production capacity.

When the burden of sanctions is removed, Iran has to seize this opportunity for implementation of Resistance Economy policies, give a boost to domestic technical knowhow and promote domestic production, Zangeneh said.
