G5+1 representative joins talks

Tehran, April 24, IRNA Concurrent with long meetings of Iranian, US and Europe experts for drafting text of a comprehensive deal on the third day of Vienna talks, Iranian deputies foreign minister had intensive talks with their G5+1 counterparts.




Iran, the US and Europe nuclear negotiation team experts have held two rounds of talks today and deputies foreign minister, Seyyed Abbas Araqchi and Majid Takht-e Ravanchi, also held meetings with their G5+1 counterparts simultaneously.

They discussed the issues initially with Russian representative and then with that of China. They are also scheduled to confer with the deputies of the G5+1 ministers, that's to say Britain, Germany and France. Afterwards, they are to hold a session with the EU Foreign Policy Deputy Chief Helga Schmidt and the US' Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs Wendy Sherman.

Meeting of foreign ministers' deputies of Iran and the G5+1 will mark the end of three-day talks in Vienna.

The Iran-G5+1 talks kicked off in Vienna on Wednesday. On the first day, two rounds of talks took place with Helga Schmidt and European team while, two rounds of negotiations were held with the US team at the level of deputies on the second day.

Concurrently, experts of teams also held separate meeting for drafting the comprehensive deal and discuss lifting sanctions.

The meeting was also attended by Araqchi, Takht-e Ravanchi and Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs and International Security, Hamid Baeidinejad.
