Talks with P5+1 only on nuclear issue: Tehran

Iran says negotiations with the P5+1 group over Tehrans nuclear program only revolve on the nuclear issue.

The talks between Iran and the P5+1 countries including the US, Britain, Russia, China and France plus Germany focus only on Tehrans nuclear program, said Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Marziyeh Afkhamat her weekly press conference on Wednesday.

Her remarks come as Iran and the six nations are to resume talks in the Austrian capital city of Vienna on Wednesday to start drafting a final deal on Tehrans nuclear issue.

Elsewhere in her remarks, Afkham termed the ceasefire in Yemen as a positive step, reiterating Irans position that the Yemen conflict cannot be settled militarily.

She further urged the holding of talks among different Yemeni groups to help resolve the crisis in the Arab country.

She also underlined that the fate of Yemen should be determined by the Yemeni people themselves.

Saudi Arabia has declared the end of the so-called "Decisive Storm" operation against Yemen, and announced the beginning of a new phase dubbed "Operation Restoring Hope," Saudi state TV said.

According to a Saudi military statement, the next phase of the operations - claimed tobe aimed at commencing political talks and delivering aid, and a mixture of political, diplomatic and military efforts - will start on Wednesday.

The spokewoman further referred to the recent sexual assault against two Iranian pilgrims by two Saudi officers, dismissing it as an unjustifiable act which hurt everyones feelings.

She said Iran is following up on the issue, expressing hope that the two Saudi offenders will be brought to justice as soon as possible.
