Reza Najafi said in an exclusive interview with Press TV on Wednesday that the IAEA should remain professional and, from the technical point of view, report what has been done by Iran.
He highlighted that if Iran agrees to take some voluntary measures under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, then the agency should do its job as a professional and technical organization and issue the confirmation of the measures fulfilled by Iran.
We believe that is the only role that we can predict for the agency, the Iranian official added.
In response to a question regarding Irans trust in the IAEA to fulfill its job, Najafi said Iran trusts the agency in terms of the technical aspect of the issue, because the IAEA could only monitor and report what the inspectors see and witness.
An Iranian delegation led by Irans Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Abbas Araqchi arrived in the Vienna, Austria, on Wednesday to start the procedure of drafting a final nuclear deal.
A delegation of experts from the IAEA was in Tehran on April 15 to hold technical talks with Iranian officials.

The meeting was held under the terms of the Framework for Cooperation Agreement, signed by IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano and Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Ali Akbar Salehi in Tehran in November 2013.
Iran and the P5+1 group the United States, Britain, France, China, Russia and Germany reached an understanding over Tehrans nuclear program in Lausanne, Switzerland, on April 2, as a prelude to reach afinal deal by the end of June.
