Tehran, April 17, IRNA -- A leading US magazine cited Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif among the 100 most influential people in the world in 2015.

The 'Time' magazine released its list of the 100 Most Influential People 2015, putting Iran's Zarif among world's most influential leaders.

The list was divided into 5 categories: Titans, Pioneers, Artists, Leaders and Icons. Each of these has a special cover and Univision's Jorge Ramos is front and center as one of the top leaders.

Other personalities that landed on the Leaders category are: Ral Castro, Angela Merkel, Vladimir Putin, Elizabeth Warren, Haider Al-Abadi, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama.

Meanwhile, Robin Wright, a joint fellow at the US Institute of Peace and the Woodrow Wilson, has described Zarif as 'the happy face of Iran's revolution.'

'I've known him three decades, as he helped end the Iran-Iraq War, free US hostages in Lebanon and coming to power of Afghan new government following Taliban collapse,' Wright said.
