Tehran, April 16, IRNA � Spokeswoman for the Foreign Ministry Marziyeh Afkham has said women play an important role in resolving problems of the Islamic societies.

In a recent meeting in Tehran with a group of Muslim women from Greece, Turkey, Senegal, Oman and Lebanon, Afkham said the Islamic societies share the same questions.

Meanwhile, participants of the meeting exchanged views on making proper use of the Islamic patterns to save humanity in the present world.

They also said that inspired by the Islamic teachings, Muslim women play an effective role in educating and bringing up noble children.
