TEHRAN, Apr. 14 (MNA) � Iranian foreign ministry spokeswoman will be appointed as the first female ambassador abroad.



Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham will be appointed as an ambassador, thus earning the title of the first -and so far the only- Iranian female ambassador abroad.


Mrs. Afkham has also the title of the first Iranian female Foreign Ministry spokeswoman in her resume.


According to reports, the destination of mission for Iranian spokeswoman is still unclear. In addition, no news has been published on who would replace her post in Foreign Ministry.
