Tehran, April 14, IRNA – Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif is to head to Lisbon, Portugal on Tuesday.
It will take place after Zarif’s visit to the Spanish capital on the same day (on Tuesday).
The Iranian foreign minister is travelling to these two European countries in response to the visit of their Portuguese and Spanish counterparts to Iran.
The visits aim at reviewing ways to expand bilateral relations. The two will also negotiate about international developments.
Foreign ministers of Portugal and Spain have flown to Tehran last year. They have had good and constructive talks with the Iranian officials on the bilateral ties.
