Iran defense minister to attend Moscow confab on Int’l security

Tehran, April 13, IRNA – Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan is to attend the 3rd Moscow Conference on International Security on April 16.

Flying to Russia at the invitation of his Russian counterpart Sergei Shoigu, the Iranian minister is planned to address the two-day international conference.

According to the Russian sources, delegates from 80 world states are to take part in the Moscow security conference.

The first Moscow conference on international security was held in 2012 and dealt with anti-missile defense in Europe. Participants in the 2nd conference in 2013 discussed matters aimed at ensuring European security.
