We wont allow mistake of 12 years ago to be remade: Senior MP

Chairman of parliaments National Security and Foreign Policy Committee Alaeddin Boroujerdi said Saturday that if sanctions persist, the chamber will require the government to put aside all its obligations, adding, Interaction is a two-way street and there is no such thing as unilateral commitment; as soon as a final deal is clinched, all sanctions must be lifted all at once.

Boroujerdi added, Among other things, the final accord should recognize our rights. Some 12 years ago our government agreed to the voluntary implementation of the Additional Protocol, but when Irans nuclear case was transferred from the Board of Governors to the Security Council, we obliged the government to stop the voluntary implementation of the protocol.
He added for the time being, parliament wont get involved in the Additional Protocol debate, but it will take similar action if necessary.
