Chairman of parliament�s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee Alaeddin Boroujerdi said Saturday that if sanctions persist, the chamber will require the government to put aside all its obligations, adding, �Interaction is a two-way street and there is no such thing as unilateral commitment; as soon as a final deal is clinched, all sanctions must be lifted all at once.�

Boroujerdi added, �Among other things, the final accord should recognize our rights. Some 12 years ago our government agreed to the voluntary implementation of the Additional Protocol, but when Iran�s nuclear case was transferred from the Board of Governors to the Security Council, we obliged the government to stop the voluntary implementation of the protocol.�
He added for the time being, parliament won�t get involved in the Additional Protocol debate, but it will take similar action if necessary.
