The VP underlined that by encouraging women's participation, 'We will surely witness better protection of environment and natural resources.'

She went on to say that women in different administrative sectors play a noticeable role and added that such potential can be used for protection of environment, which is facing serious challenges nowadays.

Ebtekar said that educational programs for women have already started in a number of provinces.

She also referred to role of non-governmental organizations ( NGOs) in protection of environment and added that in the past one and half years establishment of such bodies has increased five folds, which is very promising.
