Kuala Lumpur, April 11, IRNA � Indonesian Foreign Ministry announced on Saturday that Indonesian President Joko Widodo and President Hassan Rouhani will meet and confer on the sidelines of Asia-Africa Summit in Jakarta.




The ministry's spokesman Nasir Arrmanatha told reporters that President Rouhani is one of the 16 heads of states who will meet President Widodo at the upcoming event.

Indonesia will commemorate the 60th anniversary of Bandung Conference on April 22 and 23. Leaders and high ranking officials of Asian and African countries including President Hassan Rouhani are to attend the conference.

The Bandung Conference held in Indonesia in 1955 was the first international conference convened on the initiatives of Asian and African countries, a pioneering move in the history of international relations.

Indonesian Foreign Ministry has said that 57 delegations from Asia and Africa will attend the conference which will be held in Jakarta and Bandung.
