Iran's fact sheet is Zarif's remarks: Araqchi

Tehran, April 10, IRNA - Irans Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi says the Iranian version of Lausanne fact sheet is what has been announced entirely by Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif.

Araqchi underscored that the fact sheet published by the US, is their own interpretation of the agreement that was reached in the recent round of negotiations between Iran and P5+1 on April 2.

'After the end of any negotiations or a political event, it is completely usual that each part would narrate its points of view and bold the details that is mostly favored,' he added.

Araqchi stressed that the Americans have prepared their fact sheet in a script version with some parts of it prepared previously.

'Our rendition is a true story presented by Iranian foreign minister. We have not decided to present a written version of fact sheet yet, but if deemed necessary, we're prepared to do that,' Araqchi noted.

On April 2, Iran and the P5+1 group of world powers adopted a joint statement after marathon talks in Lausanne calling, among other things, for the removal of the UNSC sanctions against the Islamic Republic.

The statement was read out in a joint press conference in the Swiss city by the EU high representative, Federica Mogherini, and Zarif.

In the framework of the agreement, none of Irans nuclear facilities as well as the previous activities will be stopped, shut down or suspended and Irans nuclear activities in all its nuclear facilities including Natanz, Fordow, Isfahan and Arak will continue.

These comprehensive solutions will guarantee the continued enrichment program inside the Iranian territory and according to this, Iran will be allowed to go on with industrial production of nuclear fuel which is meant for running its nuclear power plants.
