Riyabkov: Nuclear talks underway in constructive atmosphere

Moscow, March 31, IRNA Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and senior nuclear negotiator Sergey Riyabkov said on Tuesday that the Iran-G5+1 nuclear talks are underway in a constructive atmosphere in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Riyabkov declined to go on details and said he hoped outcome of the talks will be unexpected optimistically.


Meanwhile, Russian media said the Iran-G5+1 nuclear talks will continue in Lausanne until midnight.

Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif and his G5+1 counterparts, except Russia, are attending the talks.

Riyabkov attended the meeting on behalf of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

Lavrov Left Lausanne on Monday and said that he would come back if the negotiations reach fruitful outcome.

IRNA reporter in Moscow said that Lavrov is on his way back to Lausanne on Tuesday.
