Russian, Chinese FMs stress Iran nuclear agreement
Beijing, March 30, IRNA Foreign ministers of China and Russia reviewed the latest developments in Iran's nuclear dossier in the Swiss town of Lausanne on Sunday evening.



Foreign Minister Wang Yi and his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov stressed that Iran's nuclear issue should come to a conclusion, according to a statement on Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs website.


They also urged the countries involved to show more political will to attain a principal agreement.


The two officials also emphasized the importance of directing the negotiations towards 'realistic target' and 'final destination' and called for deepening mutual cooperation.


They also stressed that their countries have the same stance to bring the negotiations to a conclusion.


Chinese Foreign Minister arrived in the Swiss town of Lausanne on Sunday and met with Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif. Upon arrival, he told reporters that nuclear talks have had remarkable progress and that it is the best time to make crucial decisions.


Iran and the P5+1 countries - the US, Britain, France, Russia and China plus Germany - have been negotiating to reach a comprehensive deal on the Islamic Republics nuclear program. The two sides have set July 1 as the deadline for a final agreement.
