Zarif vows to exert utmost in nuclear talks

Tehran, March 25, IRNA Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said Wednesday that he and other Iranian negotiators will do their best in the new round of nuclear talks due to begin in Switzerland later in the day.
Zarif made the remarks speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the commemoration service of the late mother of President Hassan Rouhani at Tehran's Shahid Motahhari Seminary School.

Asked how much determined the Iranian negotiating team is to implement the guidelines of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei calling for lifting of all sanctions, Zarif said that this is what the government has insisted on from the very beginning.

Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali-Akbar Salehi, who was also present at the ceremony, told reporters that the negotiations had made good progress and that the negotiating team will make every effort to reach a win-win result.

Asked whether he will be present in the new round of talks, Salehi said that he will also travel to Switzerland to take part in the discussions.
