Tehran to host second Int値 congress on 17000 Iranian terror victims
Congress on 17000 Iranian Terror VictimsTEHRAN (FNA)- The second edition of "17,000 Iranian Terror Victims Congress" is set to start work in late August 2015 in Iran.

The Second Congress on 17000 Iranian Terror Victims is going to be held at the international level with the theme of 的ran victim of terrorism in the capital, Tehran, on August 31, 2015.


The secretariat of the congress has launched a call for papers on terrorism and terror victims. All the interested parties from across the world are invited to submit their papers on any of the congress topics. The top ten papers that make the most significant and creative contribution to the congress will be rewarded.


Kicked off on August 31, 2013, in Tehran, the 1st National Congress of 17000 Iranian Terror Victims was held in two parts of 17000 Victims of Terrorism, which was dedicated to paying tribute to the families of Iranian terror victims and the scientific session which was based on the papers received by the Secretariat of the Congress. Notably, the papers were submitted from all around the world. Out of 289 submissions, 152 papers were accepted by the Scientific Committee of the Congress. Finally amongst the 152 accepted papers, 10 papers were selected as outstanding ones and rewarded in the Scientific Session. A total of 10 papers were written by foreign authors, including Dr. Kevin Barrett (USA), Dr. James F. Tracy (USA), Dr. Franklin Lamb (Beirut), Dr. Fredrick Toben (Australia), Mark Glenn (USA), Mark Dankof (USA), Merlin Miller (USA), Yuram Abdullah Weiler (USA), Syed Zafar Mehdi (Kashmir) and Adil Alwal Salman (Iraq).
