Iran, China to consider mutual media cooperation agreement draft

Beijing, March 13, IRNA Iran and China on Thursday agreed to investigate a media cooperation agreement draft, thus preparing the ground for enhanced general and media diplomacy.

Iran's Ambassador to Beijing Ali-Asghar Khaji and China's Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Jianchao in Beijing on Thursday also underlined holding consultations on stronger media ties and general diplomacy, preparing the ground for such cooperation in the best possible manner.


Khaji said the Islamic Republic of Iran and China share common stances on many regional and international issues such as terrorism and drugs campaign, energy security and multilateralism.

He said Iran is ready for exchange of media delegates.

The Chinese official in turn underlined further expansion of mutual cooperation and relations.
