US exports to Iran up 1.5% in Jan

TEHRAN: According to a report of US Department of Commerce that US exported $13.3 million worth of products to Iran in January 2015 that showing a 1.5 percent increase compared to the last fiscal year.

The report said Iran was the 130th export destination of the U.S. products in January 2015.

The Iran-US trade totaled $182.1 million in 2014, with one hundred percent of the sum related to U.S. exports to Iran, according to a report released by the US Census Bureau statistics.

The figure showed 42 percent fall from $315 million in 2013.

Iran transacted non-oil goods with 177 countries in the past Iranian calendar year, which ended on March 20, 2014, according to the Iran Customs Administration.

The balance of trade with 91 countries was positive.

The country exported $31.332 billion of non-oil goods, excluding gas condensates, and imported $50.818 billion of non-oil goods during the 12-month period.
