TEHRAN, Mar. 02 (MNA) – Iran’s minister of communications has departed for Spain to attend the world mobile congress (GSMA) to be held March 2-5 in Barcelona.
Mahmoud Vaezi will attend the congress by an official invitation of the congress director, and will have meetings with IT ministers of countries attending the event on the sidelines.
GSMA is the most prestigious event of its sort in the IT and mobile communications held annually in Barcelona. In the main event of the congress called ‘Ministers,’ ministers of IT and communications present discuss the communication technology and the revolutionary role the mobile communication in modern life.
Attendace in the congress provides unique opportunity to meet thousands of leading government and private sector directors and entrepreneurs of the mobile industry to exchange novel ideas especially in the regulatory bodies which handle and organize mobile network developments in the world.
Among the important issues on agenda is award ceremony of government mobile networks governance. In the GSMA 2014, 139 governmental delegations, international organizations, and industrial bodies participated. Iran’s pavilion will display services provided by the Islamic Republic of Iran.
