IAEA board of Governors due to convene for five days

Tehran, Mar 2, IRNA The IAEA Board of Governors is due to convene for five days from Monday.

On the first day of the meeting, IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano is scheduled to read a introductory statement about agenda of the meeting.


IRNA reporter in Vienna said that revision of nuclear safety, reading a report provided by the Technical Cooperation Committee and implementation of safeguards in North Korea, Syria and Iran are part of the agenda of the Board of Governors.

Iran nuclear case and IAEA latest updates about honoring the Safeguards Agreement of the International Atomic Energy Agency by the Islamic Republic of Iran are the subjects to be reviewed by the weekend.
