Italian FM in Iran to discuss boosting bilateral ties

TEHRAN (ISNA)- Italian Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni is in Tehran to discuss issues of mutual interests as well as regional and international developments with senior Iranian officials.

He arrived in Iran Saturday dawn at top of a political delegation.

This is Gentiloni’s first visit to Iran with the aim of boosting bilateral ties between Tehran and Rome, discussing regional and international developments and exploring new dimension of cooperation between the two countries.

Gentiloni would meet with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif and President Hassan Rouhani.
