Flags of Iran & Germany[/caption]Berlin, Feb 26, IRNA The Germania Airline of Germany resumed its direct HamburgMashad flight on Wednesday.
Executive Director of the company Karsten Balke announced that Germania is the sole European airline, which has direct flight to Mashad, capital of the eastern Iranian province of Khorasan Razavi.
The airline also has two weekly flights from Berlin to Tehran and one flight from Dusseldorf to Tehran.
On Monday, the first direct flight between Berlin and Tehran was inaugurated in the presence of Iran's ambassador to Germany.
Ali Majedi and Karsten Balke inaugurated the flight of Germania Airline to Iran.
Referring to the opening of the first direct flight between Berlin and Tehran after 10 years, Majedi underlined importance of opening of the flight between capitals of the two countries.
