Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Marziyeh Afkham[/caption]Tehran, Feb 25, IRNA Spokeswoman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Marzieh Afkham said six Iranian prisoners sentenced to death and long-term imprisonments in Qatar were extradited to the country.
The action was taken thanks to the efforts of the Foreign Ministry and follow up of the Iranian Embassy in Qatar and in the aftermath of the visit of Qatari chief justice to Iran and interaction with Iranian judicial official, Afkham told IRNA.
She said the six prisoners who had been sentenced to life and long-term imprisonment on charges of possessing narcotic drugs.
