Iran has over 930 tourism projects underway

Tehran, Feb 23, IRNA – More than 930 tourism projects are currently underway across Iran, the head of the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization said on Monday.

Masoud Soltanifar said the projects are under construction with as much as 200 trillion rials of finance.

Speaking in a ceremony to inaugurate the first group of international four- and five-star airport hotels of Iran, Soltanifar said that the projects underway by the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization shows 50% of physical growth on average.

Appreciating the efforts made by the Cultural Heritage Organization and Tourism Bank to implement projects compatible with international standards, Soltanifar said that Iranian have proved that they can reach their big goal despite tough sanctions and restrictions on national resources.
