Iranian Armed Forces' Chief of Staff Major General Hassan Firouzabadi.[/caption]Tehran, Feb 24, IRNA - Armed Forces' Chief of Staff Major General Hassan Firouzabadi said here Tuesday that military research centers are in charge of developing missiles and satellites in Iran.
Talking to IRNA, Firouzabadi underscored that these centers are persuing their activities in software and hardware arenas and are fully active in all branches of armed forces.
In recent years, Iran has made great achievements in defense sector and gained self-sufficiency in essential military hardware and defense systems.
Tehran has repeatedly announced that its defense might does not pose any threat to other countries as its defense doctrine is totally based on deterrence.
