Iran, Japan ink MoU on medical, health cooperation

Tehran, Feb 23, IRNA The Islamic Republic of Iran and Japan signed on Monday a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on expansion of bilateral medical and health cooperation.

The MoU was signed on the first day of the visit of the Iranian Minister of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education Hassan Hashemi to Japan.


The Mou was signed by the two sides' health ministers.

The Iranian health minister heading a delegation is now in Japan at the official invitation of the Japanese government on the expansion of cooperation.

During his two-day stay, Hashemi is scheduled to confer with the heads of Japan Foreign Trade Center and Peace Foundation on issues of mutual interests.
