Iran's President Rouhani attends Resistance Economy confab in Tehran on Feb 22, 2015.[/caption]Tehran, Feb 22, IRNA President Hassan Rouhani on Sunday attributed success of his government to the support from the people and the Supreme Leader.
'Government's might is thanks to its social capital, as we believe the people have thus far been present in every scene and the supported the government and the support from His Eminence, the Supreme Leader,' said the president Sunday afternoon in remarks to Conference on Resistance Economy.
The governors general, Iranian ambassadors to regional countries, and the ambassadors of the regional countries to Iran were present in the Conference.
President Rouhani said that all the same, Almighty Allah's gracious blessings are above all, but if they were not coupled with the people's cooperation and the Leader's support there would have been no success.
** New Composition of Nuclear Talks Team Shows Resolute Will to Interact with World
On his cabinet's foreign policy and the nuclear talks, President Rouhani emphasized that the nuclear negotiations are pursued to safeguard the Iranian nation's interests and their national prestige.
'The new composition of the negotiating team shows the Iranian nation's resolute will to have constructive interactions with the world,' added the president.
The head of the Supreme National Security Council also praised the 'day-and-night endeavors of the frontline soldiers of diplomacy' (nuclear negotiators).
The president said that the nation are well-wishers of the negotiating team.
Rouhani said that majority of the people support the nuclear talks, citing the outcome of several opinion polls on the issue, which have all indicated above 70% support of the people for the nuclear talks.
'It is important that a strong majority of the people support the path that is pursued by the government,' said President Rouhani.
