Minister of Defense Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan[/caption]Tehran, Feb 21, IRNA Minister of Defense Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan said on Saturday that Iran and Russia have started a new era of good cooperation.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a local gathering here, he said relations between the two countries have entered a new phase now resulting in creation of good cooperation.
The minister added different sectors of the Iranian government-owned companies have already entered talks with Russia, esepcailly in the areas of defense and military activities.
Elsewhere in his remarks, he commented on the role of Takfiri groups in promoting Zionist regime objectives.
Dehqan said terrorist groups are leading a proxy war for Israel against the resistance movement groups because the zionist regime is not brave enough to confront the wave of resistance by itself.
He believed Takfiri groups are acting on behalf of Israel in the region to safeguard its security.
