Tehran, Feb 21, IRNA - A senior commander said on Saturday that a wave of anti-Israel sentiment has been rising in the region, particularly in Palestine, Syria and Iraq.

Lebanon's Hezbollah resistance movement has taught a lesson of endeavorment to all freedom-seekers across the world, Brigadier General Esmail Qa'ani, the second-in-command of Quds Force, said while addressing a local gathering here to commemorate martyrs of Hezbollah.

The Quds Force is a branch of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC).

Referring to the Zionist regime's 51-day war on the Gaza Strip last year, the commander underscored that during their savage attacks against the innocent people of Gaza, the Zionist forces killed thousands of Palestinians with children contributing one fourth of the victims.

He said, while the US, Europe and Arab countries failed to show due reactions to the outrageous crimes of the Zionist regime, Hezbollah immediately responded to the Israeli attacks and put them into a state of confusion.
