Iran ready to transfer agro-tech to Iraqˈs Kurdistan

Tehran, Feb 3, IRNA – Vice President for Scientific and Technological Affairs Sourena Sattari voiced readiness to transfer know-how in agricultural areas to Iraqi Kurdistan.
He made the remarks here Tuesday in a meeting with the Iraqi Kurdistan Agriculture and Water Resources Minister Abdul-Sattar Majid Qader.

He referred to the numerous areas of potential cooperation especially in agriculture and said Iranian knowledge-based companies are quite prepared to export their agricultural products and transfer technology and equipments to Iraqi Kurdistan.

The Iraqi official appreciated Iranˈs assistance and support for Iraqi Kurdistan against the terrorist Daesh group and stressed the need for enhancing bilateral cooperation.

He said Iranˈs help will definitely be constructive for Iraqi Kurdistanˈs agricultural development.
