TEHRAN Feb 03(Shana)--Energy Commission of Parliament held a meeting to assess new initiatives taken for enforcement of Economy of Resistance policies by Ministry of Petroleum and Ministry of Energy.
During the meeting representatives of two apparatuses presented their reports regarding realization of targets of the Economy of Resistance.
Deputy energy commission Mohammad Saeed Ansari said Energy Commission will pursue realization of Economy of Resistance policies by the two ministries adding realization of the targets needs some improvements in the existing procedures.
Once Economy of Resistance comes into force, the existing bottlenecks will disappear and that is why some existing deficiencies should be removed based on the principles of Economy of Resistance.
According to the lawmaker, different sectors of oil industry from exploration and drilling to refining and exports have great potentials for enforcing Economy of Resistance policies.


He further criticized continuation of reliance on oil revenues during the recent years regretting that calls for paying attention to agriculture and industry went unheeded.
