Kazakh president to visit Tehran

Tehran, Feb 1, IRNA – Deputy foreign ministers of Iran and Kazakhstan in Tehran on Sunday held consultations on upcoming visit to Tehran by Kazakhstan’s President Nursultan Nazarbayev in the first half of 2015.
  The Kazakh deputy foreign minister for regional affairs and Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Asia-Pacific Affairs Ebrahim Rahimpour also exchanged views on upcoming visit of Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif to Astana in the first half of 2015.

During the meeting the two officials reviewed bilateral relations between Iran and Kazakhstan in different areas, including, economy and culture.

They urged both Tehran and Astana governments to make use of Iran-Turkmenistan-Kazakhstan railway to boost cooperation between the two neighboring countries.
