Tehran, Jan 29, IRNA - A high-ranking religious authority said nuclear talks between Iran and major world powers should proceed.
���Nuclear talks should continue, although P5+1 must be held responsible for creating obstacles to bilateral negotiations,� Ayatollah Nasser Makarem-Shirazi said.
The Ayatollah admonished sections of the domestic media for highlighting trivial matters rather than the vital nuclear issues.

�Some sections of the media have clung to details of the negotiations and turned a blind eye to basic principles. Such stances will hinder efforts to overcome problems, if the odds of reaching a final deal grow,� he said.

Despite his endorsement of nuclear talks, Ayatollah Makarem-Shirazi voiced cautious optimism about reaching a final deal.

�We are facing difficult situations because our adversaries have issued threats and prospects of a final deal are dim,� he concluded.
