On the sidelines of the 5th Davos Economic Forum, Iranian and Swiss foreign ministers, while calling for holding talks with Syria, insisted on sending humanitarian aid to the war-torn country.
Iran’s FM Mohammad Javad Zarif and Swiss Foreign Minister Didier Burkhalter also discussed latest trends in bilateral relations, particularly on economic issues.
Pointing to nuclear negotiations between Iran and the 5+1, Iran’s FM appreciated Switzerland for hosting the talks.
Didier Burkhalter expressed readiness to help advance the negotiations to reach a final agreement between Iran and the Sextet.
Zarif and Burkhalter also talked about the important regional and international issues.
