Pakistan says ties with Iran excellent

Islamabad, Jan 22, IRNA – Spokesperson of Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Tasneem Aslam said on Thursday that Tehran and Islamabad enjoy admirable relations.
She made the remarks while addressing her weekly press briefing in the Pakistani capital.

Aslam said that Pakistan has also good relations with its two other neighboring countries — Afghanistan and China.

She said Pakistan’s bilateral ties with China stay at an excellent level and that its relations with Afghanistan have remarkably improved being on growing trend.

Responding to critics among the neighboring states blaming the Pakistani government for negligence about border security causing trouble for them, Aslam said that Islamabad did not agree with its certain neighbors (giving no names) that accused Pakistan of being a source of instability and insecurity in the region.
