Nobakht: It is unfair to undermine Zarif diplomacy

Tehran, Jan 21, IRNA Government spokesman Mohammad Bagher Nobakht on Wednesday appreciated the wise, logical and firm gesture of Iranian nuclear negotiators to defend the country's rights in peaceful use of nuclear energy.
He derided critics of Iranian nuclear negotiators for finding fault with Zarif's walking with Kerry at hotel compound in Geneva as sign of weak diplomacy.
Speaking to reporters, he said all should be thankful to those serving the nation including Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif involved in brainstorming negotiations with representatives of the western governments to defend the legitimate rights of Iranian nation.

He has adopted a right stand about the terrorist attack in France during his visit with French foreign minister he expressed outrage at cold-blood terrorism.

Some cannot tolerate sound progress of nuclear talks and try to mislead others through such allegations which will be regarded as futile attempt, he said.

'We do our best to lift the unfair sanctions through logic and taking concrete action,' Nobakht said.

The atrocities of Daesh and Al-Qaeda terrorist groups in Paris are against Islam, he said adding that it was very costly for world Muslims.

He criticized the French government for failure to stop repetition of the wrongful act perpetrated by the satire magazine blaspheming Prophet Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him) and said that it is not acceptable the French government to resort to freedom of expression to preclude accountability toward negligence of national and international obligation to de-escalate tension.

He advised the political groups not to express their views on behalf of people and said their suggestion to expel French ambassador will be an unwise move.

Everyone can express views, but, the political groups must know that national agenda is prior to partisan interest, he said.
