Tehran, Jan 17, IRNA � Iran's Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Mohmoud Goudarzi on Saturday in a meeting with Qatari counterpart Salah bin Ghanem bin Nasser Al-Ali called for expansion of mutual sports cooperation.
��Goudarzi, who is in Qatar to accompany Iranian squad in the 24th Men's Handball World Championship, underscored that Tehran is fully ready to expand its sports cooperation with Doha in technical expertise and exchanging technical information.
Iran enjoys a proper capability in scientific and technical arenas in various sports fields.

The 24th Men's Handball World Championship opened in Qatar on Friday (Jan 16).

Iran national handball team is to face Macedonia today.
