IME agricultural products trading ups 600 percent

TEHRAN (ISNA)- Nearly 150.000 tons of various types of commodities were traded in the Iranian Mercantile Exchange (IME) with the total value of $183 million in the spot market of the IME, with agricultural products trading experienced the biggest growth.
According to a report from the IME International Affairs and the Public Relations, over last week, 475.000 tons of maize, 500.000 tons of wheat, 105.000 tons of soybean, 1,190.000 tons of sugar and 25.000 tons of barley were traded in the Agricultural Trading Floor of the IME, suggesting 606 percent growth comparing to the figures of the two weeks ago.

205.395.000 tons of various types of commodities were traded with the total value of more than $80 million in the domestic and export trading floor of the IME.

Furthermore, 92.090.000 tons of steel sections, 100 tons of iron ore, 12.900.000 tons of copper products, 100.000 tons of molybdenum concentrate, 200.000 tons of metallurgical coke, 15.000 tons of precious metals concentrate were traded.

223 tons of various types of commodities were traded with the total value of $102 million as well as 100.190.000 tons of bitumen, 19 tons of polymer products, 52,800.000 tons of VB, 17 tons of lube-cut, 19 tons of chemical products, 15 tons of sulfur and 1 ton of insulation were traded by customers in the Local and Export Trading Floor of the IME for Oil and Petrochemical Products.
