Qom, Jan 16, IRNA Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance Ali Tayyebnia told reporters here Thursday night that foreign investors are queuing up to enter the country.
The welcome by foreign investors to invest in Iran is unprecedented, said Tayyebnia, adding that the interest shown by foreign investors to come to Iran shows that in future international investors will have an outstanding presence in the country.
Stressing that no accurate figure can be forecast for foreign investment in Iran in the year 1394 (2015-2016), he said after two years of drop in foreign investment growth due to the sanctions and economic recession investments have made a positive growth in the current year.

The minister noted that political progress and the international communitys recognition of Irans peace-seeking outlook have encouraged foreign investors to look for beneficial opportunities in Iran and choose the country for investment.

Referring to the operation of the center for attraction of investment and relevant services in the Qom Province said proper regulations have been predicted for the attraction and support of investors in the investment law of the country.

In line with this, he added, all organizations involved in granting investment permits have been gathered in a single place for the attraction of investment and its services in order to facilitate the process for issuing permits for investment.
