MP: Economic development not tied to talks result

Tehran, Jan 14, IRNA A member of the Majlis Plan and Budget Commission stressing that not all hopes have been tied to the result of talks for economic development, said: We have always counted on our own capacities and domestic capabilities.
Speaking to IRNA, Jaafar Qaderi said European countries do not possess the required determination for reaching a comprehensive agreement and are looking forward to the US decision and the US is not much interested in undoing the knot of the talks and reaching a suitable agreement.
He said meanwhile signing the agreement will not only save the Democrats from defeat in the Congress elections but conditions will be provided for their victory in the forthcoming US presidential elections.

The MP further remarked that nuclear talks have reached the final stages and 5+1 countries should make their choice but predictions indicate a political agreement between the two sides.

He said Iran is waiting for an agreement which will put an end to the sanctions on the way of the economy, adding that in the meantime the prescribed directives of the Supreme Leader for the development of economic activities under the sanctions (resistance economy) should be implemented.

Qaderi noted that in case of finalization of the talks and removal of the sanctions openings will be created in the economy and possibility will be increased for oil sale and using foreign banking and financial capacities which will finally result in economic growth and development.
