Tehran, Jan 14, IRNA � Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Marziyeh Afkham said on Wednesday that the swift trend of the oil price reductioin has indicated that it is a politically-motivated move.
���Useful negotiations have started among members of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and are being strengthened,� she added.
Speaking to reporters at her weekly press briefing, Afkham stressed �Oil should not be used as a political weapon.�

She also said Iran has decided to reduce its dependence on oil revenues.
