Exports exceeding imports

Tehran, Jan 10, IRNA The 11th government since beginning of its work until the month of Aban (October/November) in the current year has been able to export 121.364 million tons of commodities with a value of $49.818 billion.
According to statistics released by the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade the figure also includes 21.764 million tons of gas condensates valued $15.919 billion, 20.550 million tons of petrochemicals at a value of $7.705 billion and 79.050 million tons of other commodities worth $26.194 billion.
Also, since the month of Shahrivar (August/September) last year up to the month of Aban this year 84.565 million tons of goods with a value of $67.369 billion have been imported to the country.

The report of the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade also referred to the industrial permits in the said period including 22,605 permits for the opening of units with a capital of over 1,561 billion rials which have created 552,398 job opportunities.

In the field of development, since the start of the work of the 11th government up to date 1,654 permissions have been issued with a capital of 153,557 billion rials which have created 48,192 employment opportunities.

In production sector during the said period 1.047 million various cars, 170.900 vans, 800 buses and mini buses, 15,500 trucks, 231 tractors and over 1,837 million tons of vegetable oil, 46 billion pieces of drugs, 875,500 tons of washing power and 277,300 tons of tire have been produced.

In the field of mining sector 1003 exploitation permits for mines possessing a reserve of 1,114,312 tons for the operation of which 634.904 billion rials have been funded.
