Tehran, Jan 8, IRNA -- The 8th International Exhibition of Tourism and Related Industries will be held in Tehran from February 12 -15, director general of tourism marketing and promotion office said.Kholdinasab in a meeting with foreign ambassadors said the exhibition brings together producers of tourism products, providers of tourism services, and their clientele. Foreign representatives will participate in the event which aims at mutual tourism interaction, and introduction of various services and equipment in the field.
The exhibition is held to provide a single platform for all patrons of tourism industry. During the current year (started March 2014), tourism department at Iran痴 Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization (ICHHTO) took serious measures to boost the industry, including facilitating easy visa procedures, establishing information centers in 44 target countries, and participating in 44 international exhibitions, Kholdinasab added.
The 8th exhibition will provide grounds for memorandums of understanding between Iran and the partnering countries.
