Tehran, Jan 7, IRNA – Minister of Economy and Finance Ali Tayebnia said in Kuwait on Wednesday that Iran is eager to expand ties with Kuwait.
He said Iran is eager to undertake joint projects with Kuwait in the fields of investment, free trade zones, insurance, banking, tourism and housing. ‘We press hand of all friend countries in the region for the sake of regional development and progress so that people will benefit from them.’
Elsewhere in his remarks, Tayebnia said by encouraging moderation, all should prevent hardliners from provoking religious discord in the world of Islam. To this end, regional states should adopt joint stances against the extremist groups, he added.
On Iran-G5+1 talks, Tayebnia said regional and international cooperation should be expanded through removal of disputes and misunderstandings on peaceful nature of Iran nuclear program.
