TEHRAN, Jan. 07 (MNA) – Iran’s international Al-Huda Publications is participating in Doha International Book Fair with more than 200 book titles this year.
The 25th Doha International Book Fair kicked off today in the Qatari capital and will run until January 11, 2015. 432 publications from 29 contries across the world are participating in the exhibition.
Iran’s international Al-Huda Publications will be showcasing some 210 book titles on various topics including fictions, Iranian Studies, works by Imam Khomeini and the Leader, in Persian, Arabic and English at the 25th Doha International Book Fair.
For the very first time, a collection of over 12,000 Arabic volumes and more than 2500 foreign books are going on display at the 25th edition of Doha Book Fair, which, according to its organizers, is ‘unprecedented’ in its extensive range of offerings.
The ‘Guest of Honor’ in this year’s edition is Brazil. Iran had taken the spotlight at the 22nd annual Doha International Book Fair in 2011.
Marking the Silver Jubilee of the Doha International Book Fair, this year’s edition will include exhibition of works of art, a play, an exhibition on book development and other cultural and artistic events, as well as activities designed exclusively for children.
