Religious leader: Wahhabism publicizes Takfiri mindset by Saudi fund

Qom, Jan 3, IRNA – Religious leader Ayatollah Hossein Nouri Hamedani said on Saturday that Wahhabists are publicizing Takfiri mindset by a great deal of Saudi money.
In a meeting with directors of Islamic University ‘Al-Mostafa Society’, the ayatollah said that the Saudi government had paid a lot of money to these groups to strike Shia Muslims.

He said that the world arrogance pushed religion to the sidelines, because they consider religion separate from politics and limited it to a series of moral and social issues, while Islam is a comprehensive religion.

The ayatollah added that enemies of Islam have started widescale publicity campaign against Shia Muslims plotting against Islam and their aim is to make people pessimistic about Shia and Islam.

He said that unity among Shia and Sunni Muslims is a very important issue while enemies are trying to sow discord between them.

Ayatollah Nouri Hamedani concluded that Islam should answer all world problems, including the economic ones.
