Iran rejects AP report on nuclear agreement with US

TEHRAN (ISNA)- An Iranian informed source rejected as baseless the recent AP report on Iran-US nuclear agreement, calling it 'smear campaign'.
The report is merely 'smear campaign', the official told ISNA, adding, "What has been mentioned in the report is transfer of uranium outside Iran. It was raised long time ago, but we have not had any agreement on it."

AP has recently claimed that Iranian and G5+1 negotiators could reach an instruction in the last round of talks held in December, and that the instruction specifies domains of probable agreement as well as different approaches for settlement of the remaining disputes.

The news agency also cited two diplomats claiming that Iran and the US have reached a temporary agreement for transfer of Iranian enriched uranium to Russia.

Transfer of Iranian uranium stockpile is one of the key Iranian red lines. Iranian officials and senior negotiators have frequently rejected the proposal for shipping uranium stockpile to Russia.
